FAQ’S
How do I book?
Simply get in touch via the Contact or Book Now page. We will then respond within 48 hours to arrange a date for your planned activity.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We will try our best to stick with the planned activity, however if the weather is deemed too unsafe, we will alter the activity the ensure the safety of everyone and make sure the day is still fun for everyone involved.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please see our cancellation page for all relevant information regarding this matter.
Will there be any photos taken of me?
There will be a consent form to fill out before any activities go ahead. You would need to give consent for us to take your photo so if you do not feel comfortable having your photo taken, then please leave the box blank.
If I don’t feel up to it on the day but also don’t want to cancel as I will lose money, what should I do?
We always encourage everyone to turn up, no matter how they are feeling. However, if you are feeling low, we would love it if you asked for us to contact you via phone. Sometimes a friendly chat is all it takes. Remember, turning up is often the most difficult part, it gets easier from there.
What is discussed on the activities?
Anything and everything! At Tracks and Dales, we know how to gage our groups. Often, we will just chat about the wonders of the outdoors, but if someone wants to chat about something more specific or personal, then we are more than happy to have that conversation too. We don’t pressure anyone into talking about something they would rather not talk about. The outdoors is a healer in itself.
Are there any age restrictions?
In a word, no. However, anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by their parent/guardian/carer.
Why are you called Tracks & Dales?
Simple, when I was growing up we had two Golden Retrievers called Tracker and Dale! They were a huge reason why I got outside when I was young and definitely a big reason why I set up Tracks & Dales. I have always wanted to call this company this name as opposed to a cliché name that is similar to many others out there.
